How to use FariDocs

Follow these simple steps to generate a polished, ready-to-use PDF.

◷ 5–8 minute setup✓ No technical skills required19 connected generatorsLetter, A4, or F4 PDF
01

Choose the right generator

Start with the business action you need to record. FariDocs provides 19 generators for sales, procurement, projects, payments, and operational records.

PRACTICAL TIP · Use the 19-document selector below to see the purpose and best use of every generator.
02

Set the document identity

Upload a JPG, JPEG, BMP, PNG, or WebP logo up to 2 MB. Edit the document title and number when required; the preview follows the change instantly.

PRACTICAL TIP · A square or horizontal logo is proportionally fitted into its safe area and will not be cropped.
03

Complete company and recipient details

Enter the company name and address, then complete the recipient fields that apply to the selected generator. Bill To and Ship To remain aligned even when the content wraps.

PRACTICAL TIP · Put the company, contact person, street address, city, postal code, phone, and email on separate lines.
04

Add products, services, or activity details

Add or remove rows, use editable field names when necessary, and enter the quantity, volume, unit, rate, or amount required by the selected document.

PRACTICAL TIP · Workspace users can reuse Master Product/Service data to reduce typing and pricing inconsistencies.
05

Review calculations and optional values

Discount, Tax, Shipping, Amount Paid, and Balance Due are optional and calculated automatically. Non-financial generators use fields and totals that match their operational purpose.

PRACTICAL TIP · Always verify the currency, tax policy, decimal values, and final total before approval or delivery.
06

Choose the visual presentation

Select Letter, A4, or F4 paper; one of 10 professional fonts; more than 90 currencies; an accent color; and Modern, Professional, Corporate, Minimal, Elegant, or Classic template.

PRACTICAL TIP · Use Reset color to return to the default accent. Font, currency, paper, template, and color update the preview live.
07

Add approval and signatures

Add up to three signers. Each signature image is fitted proportionally and aligned with its salutation, name/company, and title/department details.

PRACTICAL TIP · Only add the signers needed for the document. Removing a signer also removes it from preview and PDF.
08

Choose Private Mode or Workspace

Private Mode generates and downloads the PDF without storing it. After signing in, Workspace Mode can save the PDF, customer, workflow, document category, history, and report data to the user account.

PRACTICAL TIP · Use Private Mode for sensitive one-off documents and Workspace for traceable company processes.
09

Connect the document workflow

Link documents to a customer and a Sales, Procurement, or Project workflow. A saved document can be converted to its valid next stage while keeping the customer and reference context connected.

PRACTICAL TIP · Use Customer 360°, reminders, pipeline, roles, and workflow history to see what happened and what must happen next.
10

Review, download, or save

Enable Notes or Terms & Conditions only when needed, inspect the live preview, then download the PDF. Signed-in users can also select Save to Workspace and open it later from My Documents.

PRACTICAL TIP · Check the recipient, number, dates, reference, line items, total, workflow, and signers before sharing the document by email.
Document data is not published.

*This generator does not store PDF files; the server automatically removes temporary files immediately.

GUIDE FAQ

Common questions while creating a document

Can I switch between ID and EN without losing the form?

Yes. Use ID or EN at the top-right. The current draft stays filled while interface, preview, and PDF labels follow the active language.

Can the PDF have multiple pages?

Yes. Long descriptions and many rows wrap and continue across the selected Letter, A4, or F4 pages.

Can I customize field names?

Yes. Supported generator labels can be changed without disabling quantity, rate, amount, or total calculations.

Why are my logo and signature fitted inside a box?

FariDocs uses proportional contain sizing so the full image remains visible without stretching or cropping.

What is the difference between Private and Workspace Mode?

Private Mode only generates the browser download. Workspace Mode stores the selected PDF and connected account data when you explicitly choose Save to Workspace.

How do connected workflows work?

Create a workflow, link a customer, save a document, then use the available conversion action for the next valid stage. The history and category remain connected.

Can I leave Ship To, Notes, or Terms empty?

Yes. Ship To can use the billing address, while Notes and Terms remain hidden unless their optional controls are enabled.

How should I share a finished document?

Download it in Private Mode or open it from My Documents in Workspace, verify the final PDF, and attach it to a transactional email to the intended customer.
